Lake Parker, Lakeland

  • kid-feeding-birds

As the name implies, lakes are central to the city of Lakeland's character.  White pelicans share the banks of Lake Morton with mute swans and wood storks.  Bikers and joggers share the paved trail around Lake Hollingsworth with the yacht club patrons.

Lake Parker is perhaps the most picturesque of the local lakes.  It is a popular spot for birding, boating, picnics and fishing.  The drive along West Lake Parker Drive is one of Lakeland's premier vistas.

Walk the park and feed the birds.  Go boating or fishing.  Have a picnic.  Tire the kids out at the playground. Whatever your fancy, Lake Parker in central Lakeland has it all.
